COD and agility place an enormous demand on the body especially when in the demand and volume that athletes experience within their training week, and game day loads. So, it’s up to us as coaches to be able to allow athletes to firstly tolerate the loads themselves, but also provide the necessary strength to be able to produce force in what could be somewhat an imperfect position.3 key areas that we need to target through the injury prevention are; adductors, glutes, tibialis anterior just to name a few. The goal is to get enough integration through our heavier more compound-based exercises, but then with a little more isolation-based exercises can help protect these areas even more. -Diagonal Wall Toe Raise -DB Side Squat -Glute Ball Standing Leg Abduction
