Sick of boring core exercises? Give some of these a go!

Training your core is much more than how long you can hold a plank or how many sit ups you can do.

When it comes to athletic development, core training is able how well you can brace & control your body in different positions.

These 3 exercises are just a few variations we use to challenge our athletes to maintain their position in different situations

- Raised Bird Dog – great for youth kids being able to control their trunk whilst unbalanced

- Side plank with a row – progressing a standard side plank to have an external resistance forces you to work harder to hold the position

- Stir the Pot – big stability challenge in a while in a fairly standard plank position
